Beekeeping Experiences
Beekeeping has a hugely important role within our immediate ecosystem, one which we all must be a part of preserving. We look forward to you joining us to play your part in preserving the fascinating craft of beekeeping for future generations.
Things you should know:
- Groups will be no larger than 10 to ensure all attendees get some hands-on experiences with the beehives
- Content of the course may depend on the weather – Our bees don’t like getting wet!
- You will need to bring along appropriate footwear which covers your feet – wellies are the number one option! You will also need to bring along a pair of Marigold gloves to use on the day.
- We will supply protective beekeeping suits for you to wear during the experience
- Although all precautions are taken to avoid bee stings – there is a possibility that these may occur. Please do not book this experience if you have an allergy to bees.
